This 1919 Chickering was a family heirloom passed down through the generations to a prominent attorney in central New Jersey. Previously refinished in 1965, this antique green grand piano arrived at the doors of the Piano Doctor, in very poor condition. The finish was worn, the keys were all torn off, the strings rusted, and could barely hold a tune.
Once in the hands of the Piano Doctor, this grand was diassembled, striped to the bare wood, given a new pin block, new keys, new hammers and new strings. Finished to a high gloss polished white, the grand piano was then tuned and regulated to concert standards.
